Don't trust the exit polls. This is the MSM's way of trying to turn Republicans away from the polls. Since they can't really call any states, they are reporting SHAM exit polls. Anybody have reliable internals on these polls? Give me a break!!

When Billions are lost in value, it is for some REAL reason and not imaginary.

I trust Matt Drudge to give the impartial truth in everything; afterall Matt isn't motivated by greed and he's never been a headline seeker, seeking only to pad his pockets.

Matt is not a sensationalist; he's just an arrogant little bastard with visions of grandeur.

(Come see me you little twirp; I'd like to choke the living hell out you cowardly little bastard); Five minutes Matt and you will rediscover reality, the hard truth; trust me you two faced POS...

If they did away with exit polls they wouldn't have anything to "report" until about 2AM EST.

I think of exit polls as game breaks during football season, you know how they periodically give you hilights from other games, not really enough to tell you how the game is truly going, but enough to give you some idea of the probably outcome. That's what they do with the exit polls, they're covering the "national election" (even though there really isn't one) and periodically cut away to give you hilights form the 50 state elections (nobody pays attention to DC) via the exit polls. Plus they have the added benefit of being obsessed with trying to call each of the 50 elections in the 3rd quarter. It's fun, it kills time, it's completely non-informational.

"Fox? None of the rest can be trusted!"

Fox has a way to go , but they're light years ahead of any other network.

No arguement from me.

As soon as my husband gets home from work we're going to have dinner. Then I'm going to lay down and watch a movie (AirForce One) and then I will start paying attention to the real numbers.

FYI..all the nets are supposedly locking their predcitors in sealed rooms, where they cannot hear what the other nets are saying..The idea is to avoid the herd mentality of 2000..

I cannot keep myself from watching so it will have to be FNC.....but this election is their last chance to redeem themselves before I throw the TV into the pool. The only reason it didn't go into the pool during the WS was that the election was approaching. (not to mention that it's winter here in Missouri so the pool is covered for the season)

On National Review they're saying the 4 o'clock round of exit polls don't look good either...well duh, lots of people haven't even gotten off work yet.

In Florida the polls are open till 7, so 4 o'clock polls leave 3 more hours in regular areas, and 4 more in panhandle.

Why do they even release them...they're not even the least bit scientific.

We might as well post an internet poll, and then tell DU about it...that poll would be just about as reliable as exit polls.

What makes me mad is the concensus was reached last time that they were unreliable...so why are we even seeing them this go.

"Exit Polling: Which network do you trust the most?"

In this case, none of them because I don't trust exit polling.

Because if they don't release them the networks don't have anything to talk about until about 2 hours after polls close when the returns start coming in. There are very few things in this world more pathetic than a talking head with nothing to talk about.

In that case, expect the networks to call a bunch of eastern states for Kerry tonight, early, then pull back their calls as the counts move west.
