How Many Votes Did The Release Of These MEANINGLESS Exit Polls Cost Us?

Posted on 11/02/2004 12:10:17 PM PST by montereyp1

I cannot believe Drudge and NRO did this.

It's like calling FL an hour early.

These early polls are meaningless! The MSM knows this. That's why they leaked them. To suppress our vote.

Just VOTE!

Repubs work. Many of us vote after work. Students and unions vote during the day.

Our people have just begun to show up. The other people are done voting. THIS IS FAR FROM OVER.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! These polls mean nothing.

None, so far. The polls are still open. Tell everyone you know go vote.

Actually, dude, these numbers pissed off Republicans and may have caused a few weak Kerrymonicas to stay home...

Why would is supress OUR vote? Wouldn't it supress the Dem vote, since they would find comfort in the good numbers and skip going to the polls? If anything, I would thing that Republicans would see the exit polls and run, not walk, to their nearest polling place.

nah...it's only us real junkies that know this happens. My wife, for example, didn't know that exit polls leaked until I told her.

She posted your email.

THE ANGER ROLLS IN [KJL]
An e-mail: "Stop posting exit poll data. I am suppose to go vote after work but after reading The Corner, what's the point???? Youre so selfish KLo. You want to be the center of attention and to hell with people who haven't voted. Tell Jonah to shut the hell up also. Don't you people have real jobs?"

Um, real or not, this is our job.

I checked and MSNBC AND CNN, CBS and ABC so far have nothing on their sites about exit polling. MSM has nothing on their sites. Drudge was stupid to put this up. I have been checking and He is the only one with exiting polling at this time. Jeeze if we have to rely on Drudge we might as well call this race for Kerry!

It cost us Zero. Most Americans have no idea what Drudge says online instantaneously, and anyone who does read Drudge will vote anyways. Relax, it's going to be ok.

I'm begining to sound like a broken record (even to MYSELF): Republicans are too faint-hearted. LISTEN: Where would we be if Washington (at Valley Forge) had the same faint-heart that I'm seeing from so many FR's, today?? He would have packed it in! Goodness. Just call your friends and family members and tell them to head to the voting booth.

The only people who read these early exit polls are people like us who are political junkies and have already made up our mind and would get to the polls during a tornado in conjunction with a hurricane even if we had to walk!
