Note: I swear I am not making the following incident up. Ludicrous though it may sound, it actually happened.
After a year at the University of Miami, I thought I'd seen everything. I had no idea.
About a week or two ago, we at the College Republicans got together with the Young Democrats and the Council for Democracy to poll UM students for a "mock election" (which we miraculously won, but only because we got out the vote like crazy). It's a fun little exercise in democracy (gag me).
At one point, a clearly homosexual young man stepped up to the polling booth and cast his vote--for Bush. He then explained: "I have the biggest crush on George Bush! I don't care what John Kerry stands for. He is too damn ugly to vote for!"
I bust a gut every time I remember it.

That is so funny. Remember, before the rest of the thread bashes this kid, most gays are NOT activists but human beings. It is the activists I can't stand. According to the bible, sexual sin is sexual sin so adultery can get you in as much hot water as homosexuality. Love the sinner, hate the sin. amen.
The difference of course being adulterers don't claim to be born that way and justify that their behavior is an orientation. Show me a repentant homosexual who says their behavior is wrong and asks forgiveness from God each and every time he fails and then you might have a point.
We should not judge who goes and does not go to heaven, but while on earth we should judge right and wrong and not use moral relativism to justify wrong behavior. You are misguided.

Well, yeah, I agree, we have no reason to pretend that what they are doing is good or helpful. But they ARE still humans who are trapped in sin, and need our love and prayers all the more for that.
Just as those who practice incest, bestiality and pedophilia do too.
