A really bad highlight job, huh?

Reminds me of that thing girls were doing to their hair back in the 90's, big blond chunks in front and the rest brown. I thought it had died, hilly resurrects it for Halloween to scare hairdressers everywhere.

Teresa appears happier to be with blubba, haven't seen a smile like that from her when she's with Effin'.

I've been wondering,,, When introducing Effin' and Teresa I've heard some say, John and Teresa Heinz Kerry. Shouldn't it be John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry? The former seems to me to indicate that Effin' was once married to Heinz also.

Just a little nit picking for election eve eve.

Help me with my poor memory...my brain is fried from all these polls and pundits.

Didn't we see a lot more televised campaign rallies in 2000? It seems to me that, for the last week or 10 days, almost all the rallies were televised. I distinctly remember getting to "know" you better when Bush was campaigning so hard in Fla. I seem to recall you went to that huge rally in Orlando or Tampa in the last few days of the campaign.

C-Span used to have "Road to the White House". I don't think they do anymore. Is that where we watched ALL the rallies, bus trips, etc. It was so exciting for those of us in non-battlegrounds. I really miss it, especially Cheney's Hawaii rally. I really wanted to see that.

the Minnesota Poll has, since 1996, consistently found that starting the Friday night before the election, the electorate becomes more conservative and ends up voting more Republican.

That's a whole lot of spin. The writer may as well have said, "The Minnesota Poll is helplessly inaccurate, and thus absolutely worthless as a measure of public opinion, due to the fact that we've made up the numbers (pulled them out of our collective butt, in fact) in a pathetically inept effort to bolster the Democrat candidate. Ha ha, I guess we'll never learn."

John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry?

I'd heard a few months ago that Tuhrayza had never taken Kerry's name, that legally she is STILL Teresa Heinz. It wouldn't surprise me in the least!

Poor Chelz, even with her do-nothing job, is perilously close to a big tax increase (in the rarified air of the $200K+ crowd) if Effin gets his way. I guess she'll have to live on Ian's trust fund. She doesn't sound very well informed for someone with a Stanford B.A. and an Oxford Master's degree, does she? The left-learning AFP barely reported her big political debut, putting it in the "entertainment" category and not quoting her, LOL! The Scotsman, on the other hand, reported:

... Admitting she was "a little nervous" about taking the microphone, Ms Clinton reminded the crowd that she came from good political stock. "I’m not quite an old pro but, thankfully, I come from a family of old pros and hopefully I’ll do them proud," she said, to cheers from supporters. [Well, your father knows quite a few old pros, I'm sure]

Her appearance was part of a final push to appeal to women voters in Florida, one of the most important states on the political map because of the 27 votes it carries in the electoral college. She and her four companions also addressed rallies in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.

Oh, by the way, I'm happy and surprised to report that the sign Mr. M and I posted clandestinely (referenced above) still is in place. I bet these dimwitted college kids think it's pro-Kerry.

I understand Teresa and Effin's marriage isn't recognized by the Catholic Church, either, despite the alleged annulment of Effin's first marriage, because it was held not in the church but in her back yard. I assume she bothered to get a marriage license from the Nantucket license bureau, but who knows. The rules don't apply to those folks.

If you'd ever had as many as 75-80 kids tromping up to your door demanding candy a week after Halloween, you'd appreciate the town fathers getting involved.

Whoa!

I had no idea this sort of stuff was going on...what is up with the parenting, or lack thereof, in your great State?

That is just sick, btw.

Come'on Iowans - IT IS A ONE DAY DEAL, get it?

Even the whack-jobs down there are not that bold.

It is so wonderful to be back home, but my brother says that it's time to plan for our spring planting visit...

Cheers, everyone.

In the pony's defense, I feel as though I've gained a good twenty pounds in only three days in Iowa...I may have to cut the Edwards some slack there.

(Those folks eat really, really, well.)

S.A. coquette?

She looks as though ex-presidential knee-pads could be earned, soon.

Spooky! I was just telling HLL that today. That's what I remember too. I was wondering because Etwards is awful at his rallies and I sure would like everyone to see him in all his awfulness.

I seem to recall you went to that huge rally in Orlando or Tampa in the last few days of the campaign.

You remember that?! Yes, my son and I went to a rally in Seminole County and the line was about three miles long, we got in by the skin of our teeth! Ricky even remembered that we some how or other got really choice seats too. It was da bomb!!

I also remember noticing that the Gore/Lieberman crowds were similar to today's Kerry/Etwards crowds, not very excited. For all the effort Etwards puts into his stump appearances, he could just phone it in.

A judge was interviewing a blonde regarding her pending divorce, and asked, What are the grounds for your divorce?"

She replied, "About four acres and a nice little home in the middle of the property with a stream running by."

"No," he said, "I mean what is the foundation of this case?"

"It is made of concrete, brick and mortar," she responded.

"I mean," he continued, "What are your relations like?"

"I have an aunt and uncle living here in town, and so do my husband's parents."

He said, "Do you have a real grudge?"

"No," she replied, "We have a two-car carport and have never really needed one."

"Please," he tried again, "is there any infidelity in your marriage?"

"Yes, both my son and daughter have stereo sets. We don't necessarily like the music, but the answer to your questions is yes."

"Ma'am, does your husband ever beat you up?"

"Yes," she responded, "about twice a week he gets up earlier than I do."

Finally, in frustration, the judge asked, "Lady, why do you want a divorce?"

"Oh, I don't want a divorce," she replied. "I've never wanted a divorce.

My husband does. He said he can't communicate with me."

Thanks for posting that. Listening to the radio today I heard a report on Caroline Kennedy doing an appearance but they didn't utter a word about Chelz. I thought, that's odd, maybe I just missed that part. It appears they didn't. Ha!

Terrorists for Kerry!!

I can't believe they took a poll and then started using the lie that Bush has let bin Laden get away and now he's taunting us with videos. Trying my hardest not to wish long slow deaths on them all.

Ugh, since I quit smoking I've gained 10 pounds, could be 12 by now. I feel like a whale so I have no compunction about taking it out on the Silky Pony.

Speaking of dimwitted...

Jamie Brock, 13, dressed as a zombie, her sister Nikki Brock, 10, dressed as a clown, Cody Corbine 10, dressed as an Indian and Gabriel Lukacek, 13, background, trick-or-treat in a Milwaukee neighborhood Sunday afternoon Oct. 31, 2004. Unaccompanied by adults, Nikki and a group of her friends stopped by a Kerry Edwards campaign center and picked-up signs to carry while canvassing the neighborhood for Halloween treats. Guess Milwaukee is a liberal haven?

Received a phone call today from the Kerry Krew looking for the hubby (he's a dem!!!), sorry, he's not home. May I talk to you she asked, sure I say. Are you registered to vote? Yes ma'am. Can John Kerry count on your vote on November 2nd? No ma'am, I say sweetly. Pause... oh, I see, thank you. I think I threw her off with my overwhelming sweetness. hehe

Also got a call from W, yeah we gabbed for a few... (Just kidding, a recording!) AND, Franklin Graham is calling with recorded messages. Glad to hear that!

Huh,,, I thought she took Kerry's name soon after he won the primary.

Look how cute...

Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) applauds as his granddaughters Elizabeth Perry, right, with her Grim Reaper Halloween costume, and Grace Perry in her princess outfit are introduced by Lynne Cheney before supporters at the Romulus High School in Romulus, Mich., Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004. To howls of laughter, Lynne introduced Elizabeth as 'John Kerry (news - web sites)'s health plan,' highlighting one of the many contentious issues of the campaign. (AP Photo/Carlos Osorio)

(Those folks eat really, really, well.)

When you grow the best food in the world, it's pretty easy to over indulge in Prime Quality eats.

that's my excuse,, and I'm stickin' to it.

Welcome back! Quick Trip.
