As soon as the tape was released, I forbade Mrs. knews hound from going to any public place (malls or Govt Bldgs for instance)until the election is over.

You're right - I don't care if they scream - they're meaningless now... If our awareness is heightened because of this - it might save lives and I hope Bush does the right thing even if it does cost him votes...
I thought there was a policy established over a year ago, not to broadcast any Al Qaeda tapes. Whatever happened to that policy?

I'm doing and going where I want. We have more faith in God than we have fear of the terrorists. We even flew from New York on 9/11 of this year. Cant' let them make you so afraid.

Just how 'dated' is this video? All I heard was that there was a reference to the 9-11 Commission, as well as the 1,000+ deaths.
Truth is, either are predictable, and UBL could have had several tapes ready for this occasion - one mentioning 1,000 deaths, and one not mentioning it.
I'm certain that the tape is legit and that he is alive, don't get me wrong. But does anyone know what specifically 'dates' the UBL video?

He mentions the Kerry candidacy, so it's not too dated.
Maybe they meant if Osama mentioned a specific date, such as 9/11, then that was a signal.
