Walt didn't sound bias when he was reporting back then - either he wasn't or I didn't understand what to look for -
And back then - We were all Americans - not conservatives, liberals, etc. Just Americans -
I sure hope we can get back to those times - that's not to say we didn't have problems - but we went the wrong way in trying to correct them - and that helped to make the nation we deal with today - plus those pesky Socialist came - and were allowed to get a foothold - - Shame on us -

Sure are a lot of views on this - just got done watching Joe's Real Deal - He seemed sad for Kerry - even gave him some talking points - But I think someone had already beat him to the words - Something along the line that if Kerry had been President on 9/11 and gone after OBL - he'd be 6 ft under by now - OOOOKay - Would that have been because Clinton would have told Kerry where to find him - ? I mean Clinton had shot after shot at him - and he didn't do much about the guy -
