CBS needs to lose its license and be shut down.
If it weren't for CSI, CBS would be SOL.
The rest of the network does fine, but the only time their news division 'shines' ratings-wise is with Sunday's 60 Minutes. Their evening news coverage is the lowest rated of the 'Big Three' and even cable news (Fox) beats them from time to time.
Well, people like CSI, and they like Raymond and King of Queens and the other CBS comedies. Especially Two and a Half Men. That's the best comedy currently in production. Or at least I say so. I mean, it's no Seinfeld, but what is? Anyways, I digress...
Most people don't care. They're not hyper-political. But when it comes to news, people are tuning out CBS. And not just because of a conservative boycott. People just inherently know when they're being sold a bill of goods.
CSI gets old after you watch it a few times. Having it on 3 times a week isn't going to last. People watch for the gore, they always do.
