Apprentice Ping for tonight. Apparently there is suppose to be some good fireworks in the board room
All I can say is Wow! Last night's show was exciting! I must disagree with the idea that seeing the commercial at Times Square wasn't much of a reward, however, because I know for a fact that there's nothing more satisfying, thrilling, rewarding than seeing your creative "baby" make the bigtime. And after all, what motivates these high-achieving Type A-ers? Needs for recognition, money, power drive their ambition. Candidates on the show must be very high on the need-for-recognition scale, else why would they put themselves through the hassle?
Elizabeth needs no further comment. But "The Kid" took hold like a pro and made my heart sing. His team operated not with meek unanimity but with the creative conflict that makes capitalism so much fun, that makes progress happen, that moves the world forward. He harnessed their high-octane horsepower, brain power, abilities, egos in the service of excellent creative concepts that were mostly, but not entirely, his own. And he considered their advice, and took it when it seemed right to him, even moving his debate-champ ego aside and letting Kelly do most of the presentation. That impressed me!
The end product of their work and his creative leadership was beautifully conceived, stunningly executed, inspiring, effective, right on the mark.
If he bleeps up two weeks from now and gets fired, he'll have already assured his future in the business world with his enormously powerful performance last night. Executives who have his creative talents combined with his leadership skills and obvious intelligence, drive and ambition are as rare as ruby hen's teeth. The guy's a gem!
Here's hoping that next week's show and all the rest are as exciting! I do rather look forward to having Stacie J back in the mix, as I think she was scapegoated and has to have more business talent than we saw her exhibit. Or not.
Veto! = Andy's mom. :)
Fired without the opportunity to defend yourself. Just walked into the board room and got fired! "No brainer", said Trump.
Remember last year when some of the previously fired apprentices returned to be part of a project? Probably same this year.
This year, I think the ones who have been fired so blatantly needed firing, I hate seeing them come back.
Don't forget tonight's show. StacyJ. . . . sheeeeeeeeeees baaaaaaaaack.
Awwww man! My sister is watching a foreign film. Borrrrring I'll have to catch up with the rerun.
Im glad to see Stacy back....LOL
Yeah, maybe now she can quit sending me online casino spam emails.
DENISE RICH? As in Mrs. Mark Rich???????
LOL.....unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!
Yep
Do you keep an Apprentice ping list? We watch this show weekly but this is the first I've seen the thread.
Could you add me, please?
It starts in 15 minutes here. I just found you due to someone else starting a thread about the reward tonight being a visit with Denise Rich, Clintonista extraordinaire.
HOW DOES IVANA KEEP SURVIVING??????? ALL SHE DOES IS WHINE, WHINE, WHINE!!!!!!
Awwwwwwwwwww, I'm gonna miss Raj! :-(
I thought Raj would make it to top three. Ivana should have been gone a long time ago. Kevin dodges another bullet.
Me too. And to make matters worse, Ivana will survive next week because of Chris's IDIOTIC outburst. ARGH!
Trump was wrong tonight about Raj's decision to convert a 4th bedroom into a bathroom....that was a 2 story family house, it needed a bath upstairs.....Trump is out of touch...Ivana or better yet Kevin should have been fired...Raj failed in the boardroom not explaining the need for an upstairs bathroom...
I won't say he was completely wrong, but I do think that was not a catastrophic mistake like Trump made it out to be. I would put that more into the "toss-up" category -- I could see it either way. The only mistake that I saw Raj make (under the circumstances) was not bringing Chris in the boardroom when he had the chance. I think he would've been around for next week if he had.
Yes! I couldn't believe that. I almost expected her to say "PARDON the mess."
