i really dont remember when but didnt a few months ago kerry propose something about a mandatory service for all men 18 and older? maybe im crazy but i swore he announced that somewhere.

You remembered correctly...it's NOT just draft age people..skerry has a plan for 13-17 year olds, HS is MANDATORY..i.e.CONSTRIPTION, 18-26, and grannies.

This is good info to send off to college age and HS age people. There will be a 'need' for MORE state level TAXES to provide the additional college facilities and profs. BACKDOOR TAXATION. You gotta serve someone

Yesterday some news outfit (radio -- either ABC or CBS) played a clip of Edwards talking about the national service plan, which would give a person four years of college for two years of service.

I expect Kerry would say, "the previous administration made such a mess and left our military so demoralized that they are leaving in record numbers. We only discovered this after we took office, so a draft will unfortunately be necessary. And oh, by the way, it's all Bush's fault.
