Even after the CIA/FBI has authenticated new AQ tape, why is ABC still waiting to show the public. It is not their job to determine politics...Their job is to tell the whole story, no mater what the implications are...

You make an excellent point. I am waiting to see if the terror level is raised. I trust President Bush to make the right decision regardless of political concerns. He will make sure he does the right thing.

(But it still bugs me that MSM is making decsions based on their perception of what is best for us, be it political or anything else.--But this isn't the place to fight that battle.)

If the threat level is raised, I will be demanding the release of the tape. Sean was told the tape was "chilling." If so, then we have every right to know what we are dealing with prior to the election. Knowledge is power.

I am going to follow the lead of those I trust--President Bush. I will wait and see.

This tape, once authenticated, is news. To sit on it is over concerns of political implications is, in fact, politically motivated by definition. To quote Rush (the band, not the talkshow host) "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice". ABC is on the verge of choosing to bury a tape because it might help Bush.
