Well it's evident you're not Karl Rove. I dismiss your premise so, that's all I have to say.

Credible polls - not the Democrat-commissioned push-polls of "all adults" - show that Kerry has pulled ahead or extended his lead in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and even Ohio

ROFLMAO!!! Zogby? LA Times? ARG? Chicago Trib? ABC?

The explosives story is falling apart (even the NY Times is now backing off). This will leave Kerry twisting in the wind, again. Bush is even in New Jersey, even in Michigan and up by 8 in FL. I think Rove is doing just fine without your advice.

Bush can "still" win? Bush is the odds-on favorite to win. He can win by keeping on with what he's been doing.

You don't know what you're talking about.
What do you mean "still win"?
Kerry is about 2 days away from a full scale tank.
It will become clear soon enough.

Those polls coming out you speak of are Friday-Sunday polls that Democrats usually surge in anyway. This whole weapons story is doing two things good for Bush: 1. It makes terrorism the focus - which automatically helps Bush due to Bush's large lead over this issue. 2. It is backfiring on Kerry who jumped the gun and now makes him look desperate and like someone who'll say anything to win. This is something that will play negativley for Kerry when people are about to cast their vote and Kerry fails the "gut" test that is brought up on these forums sometimes. I think the weapons story is a godsend. We should be glad that CBS didn't run with it 48 hours before the election. That wouldn't be enough time to let it play out and Bush would be hurt. But because there's still 5 days or so left that is plenty of time for Bush to hammer Kerry on the issue because now Kerry says these weapons are a threat because we didn't guard them, yet Saddam wasn't a threat because he didn't have them. Kerry's positions in the latest few days are self-contridictory. Saddam was either a threat or he wasn't. This is reenforcing the wobbly-on-Iraq perception that isn't very confidence inspiring. Kerry's position on the Iraq war as of now seems to be Saddam was a threat but he was not a threat because he didn’t have any dangerous weapons which are now missing and are a threat because we didn’t do enough militarily to protect them despite the fact we shouldn’t have done anything at all to begin with. Makes sense doesn't it? If you think so, vote for Kerry lol.

I would say, do not attack Kerry.

The man is doing such a good job destroying himself.

Darn adding that bold tag screwed up my formatting. If any moderators could add some space breaks there that would be appreciated. Thanks. Is there any way to edit one's own posts, anyway?

Check out Drudge. The Al-Qaaqaa (sp?) story is finished and about to backfire on Kerry tomorrow. And about the polls, Bush is tied in NJ, Hawaii, Minnesota, Michigan and leads in Florida, New Mexico, Iowa and Wisconisn. Ohio is the only real state that is giving Bush some trouble, but he won't need it if he wins FL, NM, IA, and WI.

First; Bush is NOT looseing...
Second; He will win but how much is the question ...
Third; The story you quote is a non story.. People already know who they'll vote for, for weeks now.. Undecideds will still be undecided till the moment they enter the voting booth.. why?... because their undecideds, thats how they are.

What Kerry is NOT Talking About:

Diversity
The Economy
Health Care
Unions
The Environment
Stem Cells
The Minimum Wage
Women's Rights
African Americans
Energy Independence
Gay Rights
Feeling Your Pain
Abortion
Hispanics
Any Positive Vision For The Future

What Kerry IS Talking About:

The catastrophically dangerous regime of Saddam Hussein and what an incredible threat to humanity was posed by less than 1/10 of 1% of his weapons.

Kerry has pulled ahead or extended his lead in . . . Minnesota . . .

Where do you get this from? This is ONE poll, Zogby. The polls in Minnesota have stayed about the same at a Bush/Kerry tie.

Zogby | 10/24-10/27 601 LV 4.1 44 47 - Kerry +3

Humphrey Inst | 10/24-10/27 690 LV 4.1 47 44 5 Bush +3

Rasmussen | 10/20-10/26 500 LV 4.5 49 46 - Bush +3

The polls are all over the place like they've always been (especially Zogby), but must show Bush with a comfortable lead. I don't see ANY of the movement you're talking about, except in Zogby and ABC, which are both in bed with the Kerry campaign.

With that said, Bush needs to do a better job firing back at Kerry rather than just saying "we don't have all the evidence about what happened." He needs to call Kerry on his lies and point out how ironic it is that Kerry is suddenly very concerned about Iraq's weapons program and using words like "dangerous weapons, stockpiles, and nuclear". But Mr. Kerry, I thought Saddam wasn't a threat!!!!!
