Have you noticed how the left wing has beens who have appeared on Fox News to defend the NYTimes & CBS, keep referring to the imbedded Fox reporter whose first name is Dana, as a "she". Typical They must not have watched this reporter give an eyewitness report on this issue. This report have been replayed many times in the last two days. "Dana" is a guy.

The answer is very simple. They think DANA is a she, so therefore NOT to be taken seriously or afforded ANY credibility.

The "she" is the NBC producer who was there. Her name is not Dana Lewis. He is a reporter who previously worked for NBC but now is with Fox in Moscow.

It is one of those names that go either way. But there aren't that many men named "Dana" these days so I'll give them a pass here. My parents had neighbors named Madelyn and Kay. I still have to think which one was the man's name.

Actually, they may be doing that. What is more likely is that they (specifically, pMSNBC) is trying to pan off Lai Ling Jew (exact name?) as the reporter that was on scene at the time. They have quoted Ms. Jew as the person on the scene, embedded with the 101st.

In fact, Ms. Jew was a producer. Dana Lewis was the NBC reporter. Mr. Lewis now works for Fox News and provided significant detail to Brit Hume last night.

This, in my opinion, is another attempt by NBC (or pMSNBC, in this case) to try to bolster the (false) claim made by the NY Times and siezed on by the despicable John Kerry.

I think, at least in some cases, they're referring to a different reporter who is a woman and basically said the troops didn't look around much.

One of the reporters who has been involved from the NBC side was/is a female asian-american and I have heard her mentioned in some of these reports. Maybe that is who they are talking about.

In all probability they are referring to the female producer of Dana Lewis. Her last name is Jew I think. She has been refuted by Lewis and actual soldiers but the media is going with her because her story fits better into their plans.
