I am tired of you new people lecturing us on what we just saw like we cannot think for ourselves. Some of us have been on here a long time and are intelligent enough to realize when we have been had. This was not A POW's Story as advertised -- doesn't take a genius to figure that out so you can quit trying to defend Sinclair -- there is no defense!

Stolen Honor was listed here as well on the dish network guide on TV! Now we got A POW Story instead and it wasn't a POW story.

I hate to say it, but it really does look like (with the exception of the first 10 minutes) it was thrown together to appease the lawyers. I have seen better productions come out of my college students. Looks like they were running scared...
I was on the ABC message boards and some rabid Bush hating loon said that there was going to be an October Surprise on Wednesday.
I really hope this isn't the start of something Bush can't overcome.
For the future of this country, I hope this was not related to some kind of coordinated effort to win this election for Kerry.

I am one of the most optimistic people you will ever meet. When I say it was a whitewash, you can take it to the bank. It was like the first 10 minutes were hard hitting against Kerry and then A POW Story ended and we must be nice to Kerry and Dems came forward.
Looks like Sinclair's PR department was all prepared to send out mollifying disinformation agents.

That's the sense I have as well -- it was going to be hard hitting like the first 10 minutes and then they really wimped out. Since when do news organizations not just tell the truth? This was a whitewash and became slanted towards Kerry.

A Vice-Pres from Sinclair was on FOX this afternoon before it aired,,,,and admitted that there were more Kerry bumperstickers in Sinclair's parking lot than Bush ones.
Well, our only hope is that undecideds have a short attention span and only watched the first 10 minutes and changed the channel.
Thanks to you all for keeping those of us whom couldn't watch updated, although it sounds like we didn't miss much:-(. Was there anything in the first 10 minutes that hurt Kerry at all?
