I just heard that the showing of Stolen Honor has been canceled for tomorrow night by the theater owner due to the threat of a lawsuit.
Dom is talking about it on his radio show but they are having some audio problems at the studio.
I hope this hasn't been posted - I did do a check.
I will endeavor to obtain more info.
How can someone be sued for showing a movie? Need more details.
This is our country's future if Kerry/Edwards gets in.
Lawyers will control our every action.
The Democrats can't win in the arena of ideas so they threaten to sue.
We need real men. Not a bunch of weenies. Even working in movie theaters and deciding which movies to show, the country needs real men.
Well, this can only generate more interest in the free showing on Sinclair.
"Banned in Boston!"
What theatre or are you talking about Sinclair Television showing the show?
Someone will be on the program in a bit to discuss it. I will post what is discussed when it happens.
I have NO idea how someone could be sued for showing a movie.
No kidding!
Censorship by Kerry rears its ugly head yet again.
Undecideds will now have to wonder.....what is he hiding? what is he afraid of?
Was this a set-up?
I knew it! It was to good to be true! I HATE THE FREAKIN RATS! They can spit vile on the tube, and radio, hellywood movies and newspaper can assassinate the president and get away with it, BUT Holy S*** don't you dare show anything damaging about sKerry or ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE!! Damn I just wish, Sinclair would've run with the movie without advertising it! :(
Why can't they just edit that part out
Ooops, I think I just jumped the gun here to quickly..THEATER?? HUH?
I have not heard this at all....need more information....
Just turned his radio show on ..
What theatre? I thought it was going to be shown on the Sinclair stations, not in theatres.
This sounds like a hoax to me.
I agree with ya, Rose.
But ya need to calm down a bit. It's hard to hit the target dead center if your not calm. Aim with great intent!!!!!
My guess is a theatre .. Dom G. had set up a date for a special viewing of the movie
This is the United States isn't it... far too many lawyers and useless lawsuits.
You may be right, I didn't catch the name of who canceled it but I know there was supposed to be a showing in Jenkintown tomorrow nite and John O'Neill was supposed to be there.
Still waiting for this person to come on to discuss it.
If this is true, well, I just don't know what to say. I guess if I was the theatre owner I would tell them where they could stick that lawsuit, for starters, and take out an ad in the local papers promoting the movie that is twice as big as any other ad for a movie in that paper.
I sure don't recall any lawsuits concerning theatres showing Michael Moore's piece of garbage movie.
That was all fine and dandy.
Just moore double standards I guess. Keep us posted on any further developments, please.
