Just curious, are you old?
You seem old.
we are all feeling the same way about OReilly....he was HONORED with an interview with the President of the US and his ratings went thru the roof.....BUT NOW, he is "begging" that traitor Kerry to come on, BEGGING HIM, and Kerry says "I didnt know he wanted me to come on the show"....NOW YOU AND I KNOW thats a COMPLETE lie....why hasnt OReilly gone on the air and said...."You know Kerry is telling the biggest lie, saying he didnt know I wanted him for an interview so therefore he can kiss my behinie he is NOT welcome on The No Spin Zone".....but he hasnt.. he keeps begging....to heck with him, I havent watched him since the night of the VP debates when he had all those Libs on and showed his stripes ......yuck to him
No apologies!!!! Excellent post. Makes me wonder about what happened to the results of those Fox polls about whether or not Slimeball should be asked to appear on BORe. Last I saw, the invite-poll was against Kerry's appearing.
Anyone who finds Kerry "honorable" is on brain-support.
If you use that as your starting point, he's easy to fathom.
And, welcome to Free Republic!
well, buddy, you have a point. rest assured that o'reilly is peaking right now, and his decline will happen soon. His fake kind of "fairness" is too transparent for anyone with a brain. His days are numbered.
O has already done a great interview w/GWB. On O's website, he asked his viewers/fans if they thought Kerry would agree to go into the NO SPIN ZONE... some 80% said NO, he wouldn't. He would love to get JFK in the zone & shake him up... he would be SO flustered, he wouldn't have a clue what hit him. He's got so many sides, he wouldn't know which way was up! If he did go on the Factor, it would only help the cause. He is his own worst enemy!
Well, since FoxNews has seen fit to go away from their "fair and balanced" mantra and has taken a hard left of center, I say keep O'Reilly on the tube. If BO were the only issue with FoxNews, then I would say give it a shot. But FoxNews has decided to go after the almighty ratings and bucks by sucking up to the left.
Welcome to FR!
Coincidence? I think not.
There are exactly two people on TV that will call a socialist a socialist. And O'Reilly does it far more oftne than the other.
BOYCOTT O'REILLY. The honest, decent, conservative American audience made him what he is and now he is pandering to the liberal left every chance he gets. Tonight he's taking issue with Sinclair Broadcasting over the showing of "Stolen Honor". O' doesn't think it 'FAIR'.
He started losing me when he started dissing the Swift Boat Vets.

You remind me of my mom...SHE would write something like that...apologetic, because she's not so "web savvy", wondering if she "did it right"! At least you waded in to your knees, not your ankles!
So hey, give the old guy a break already!
O'Reilly bugs me, too. He's self-congratulating and pompous. He seems hell bent on hanging onto that 'independent' tag. It's annoying, admittedly. And he's made some excuses for the democrats to be sure. But he's cut the Bush administration quite a bit of slack as well, which is better than most MOR commentators. And he's a tough SOB when he gets his ire up. He delivers some very interesting perspectives on issues, misses some interesting perspectives, but always pays attention to the B.S. I scream at him through my TV, too...but he IS entertaining.
BTW, this is my first post, too. I'm not old, either, so I don't even have an excuse.
My husband heard O'Reilly tonight and said it was really bad, that O'Reilly is definitely a liberal. He told me about before dinner and doesn't ususually comment on the news commentators, unless Ann Coulter is on.
Gee, these are getting easier and easier to spot.
Hey, DU'er go back to that rock you slide out from under.
