"Oh honey, how right you are, my manicure is fabulous!"
Good Morning!
... Schieffer has been spending the past few weeks consulting colleagues and experts to make sure he avoids that terrible outcome. "I'm going to take at least 100 questions with me," he said. "I've been watching the other debates very carefully. I think both Jim [Lehrer] and Gwen [Ifill] did fine jobs. Jim in the beginning set the standard. The challenge is to really ask questions that are specific."
What if President Bush and Sen. John Kerry don't answer his questions? "I'm going to try to get them to answer, but it's really up to them," Schieffer said. "In all seriousness, a nonanswer is an answer, too. People understand when somebody's not answering, and they make their own judgments." source

Why, Jesse, what big eyes you have.
Oh please, like Bob doesn't have a boatload of stupid questions in reserve at any given moment.
All da beddar to spy dat left over pork chop my dear!
Good Morning. Thanks for the new thread. My goodness,, what a frightening picture.
Did I miss all of the post-debate polls? I know that Reuters showed kerry up by 3, but everyone else seems to be silent. Whenever they are silent, it's good news for Bush.
I suspect the reasons they aren't touting the post debate polls are:
1) The Dem activists manipulated the online polls to the point where Kerry had an unrealistic lead.
2) The telephone polls of likely voters show Bush ahead, and outside the margin of error.
Obviously, I like to think positively.
This is an insult to the stooges.
Oh, Lord, please let it be so.
Never mind, she was joking. She said that Mark Halrin was the new DNC Head. Hahaha.
Two men who tore down a Bush-Cheney sign and urinated on it were caught on videotape by Summit County Republican officials early Friday morning.
The videotape shows the men sneaking into the yard of a West Market Street home and bending the sign to the ground. The men struggled to rip the sign out of the ground by shaking it and pulling it but couldn't get it off the posts, so they knocked it down. Sounds heard on the tape suggest the men urinated on the sign. They were white males, about 30 to 35 years old, well-dressed and well-groomed. They parked across the street in what police think was a foreign car, a Toyota or Honda.
The homeowner, Steve Kotsatos, who is also assistant to the director of the Summit County Board of Elections, called Akron police dispatchers at 10:38 a.m. Friday and told them about how his campaign sign was vandalized.
He said he caught the vandals on a night-vision camera he had installed the day before. link w/video
Even when caught red handed they blame the victim!
According to an Orlando Police Department report, Rhyan Metzler, a field director for the Republican Party, was at the headquarters about 1 p.m. last Tuesday when 60 protestors barged in. Van Church, a 53-year old protestor, forced the door open and caused Mr. Metzler's arm to be caught in it. His left wrist was fractured in the altercation. Police say Mr. Church will be charged with two counts of battery.
But Mr. Church is unrepentant. "If his wrist was fractured, it's a result of his own actions in jerking the door the way he did," he told the Orlando Sentinel. "He jerked the door out of my hand and cut it in the process." But since it is Mr. Church who is being charged, the police apparently didn't think Mr. Metzler did anything wrong.link
If I had one wish it would be that Kerry could meet face to face with Gen. Tommy Franks.
Gen. Franks is now actively campaigning for GWB.
RENO, Nev. (AP) - Retired Gen. Tommy Franks launched a four-state campaign swing for President Bush (website - news - bio) by criticizing Sen. John Kerry (website - news - bio) 's anti-Vietnam War activities and voting record on the military.
Franks, former commander of forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, faulted Kerry's votes on major weapons systems and intelligence issues, and against the 1991 Gulf War.
"If his voting record ruled the day, Saddam Hussein (news - bio) would not only be running Iraq but Kuwait," Franks told about 200 people Sunday at a Reno rally. link
Gen. Franks needs to do some TV interviews!
Isn't that special?
