How is Iraq better?

IRAQIS FEEL FREE.

1) Go to Iraq the Model
http://iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/

Go to an article entitled "1 square kilometer".
The most eloquent testimoney that Iraq is better off now than under Saddam. Of course he has many eloquent articles.

2) See also my blog:
http://freedomstruth.blogspot.com

I have links to MANY sources on the improvements in Iraq.

One of the links is the Chrenkoff's "Good News from Iraq".

Lots of data points on the improvements in:
- the economy (booming)
- free speech (talk radio, papers, TV/satellite)
- freedom of travel (eg Shiites can visit shrines)
- political freedom (the parties are forming, the govt is representative, etc)
- coming elections
- infrastructure (hospitals repaired, electricity generation 20% higher than before the war, school being rebuilt) etc

Alot was damaged in the war, looting; but much more was damaged from 30 years under Saddam, including the Iraqi psyche. We are repairing that, bit by bit.

Last point. One of my article is "SADDAMS MASS GRAVES" about Saddam's genocide. Is a country better off with a genocidal murderer in jail.

Taimour was only 12 years old in 1988 when he survived the Anfal massacres of an estimated 180,000 Kurdish Iraqis - men, women and children including 110 members of his own extended family who were slaughtered by machine guns in mass graves. He fled to the United States and started a new life. He hopes to testify in the trial of Saddam Hussein.

Taimour's father was a farmer in the remote village of Kulejo; about 20 minutes drive away from the town of Kallar, northeast of Baghdad. One day Iraqi troops took everyone in the village to a military garrison near the Iran border and ten days later to Topzawa jail in Kirkuk.

After a month, vans took the villagers to the desert near the border with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia where they were pushed into graves dug by bulldozers and shot. Taimour was shot several times but managed to crawl away and with the help of Bedouins and others made his way back to Kurdistan.

Because he was perhaps the only victim to witness the Anfal mass killings and survive, rumor reached him that Saddam Hussein had put out a contract on his life. He fled to the United States in 1996 with the help of human rights advocates.

Stories of some of Saddam's Victims

The Freeper Ragtime cowgirl took the job of finding and posting the good news from Iraq Check this out.

Her archives should provide plenty of info and you will be doing your own research. Your FReeper friends merely provided references.

One other suggestion: As you're looking at the list of results from Google, don't just scan the titles, scan the sources-- for instance, you'll see results with sources from www.nytimes or www.washpost or www.cbsnews or other liberal/democrat sites. You can pretty much dismiss those unless you want to know what liberals have to say, which is all pretty much negative.

An essay on iraq

The subject of iraq has been covered intensively by the world press over the past decade. There are many factors which influenced the development of iraq. While it is becoming a hot topic for debate, several of todays most brilliant minds seem incapable of recognising its increasing relevance to understanding future generations. It is estimated that that iraq is thought about eight times every day by the aristocracy, who are yet to grow accustomed to its disombobulating nature. Relax, sit back and gasp as I display the rich tapestries of iraq.

Social Factors

Society is our own everyday reality. The immortal and indispensable phrase ‘honesty is the best policy’ [1], contrary to my learned colleague Sir George Allen’s recent publication ‘Into the eye of , could not have been referring to eighteenth century beliefs regarding society. Spanning divides such as class, race and uglyness, iraq bravely illustrates what we are most afraid of, what we all know deep down in our hearts.

Status, Security, Fame - iraq, all revolve around this 'golden fleece'. To put it simply, people like iraq.

Economic Factors

Increasingly economic growth and innovation are being attributed to iraq. We will begin by looking at the Fish-Out-Of-Water model, as is standard in this case.

Market
Value
Of
Gold
Iraq
It is apparent from the graph that the influence of iraq is strong. What is the secret to its strength? Of course the market value of gold will eventually break free from the powerful influence of iraq, but not before we see a standardised commercial policy for all. The financial press seems unable to make up its mind on these issues which unsettles investors.

Political Factors

Politics has in some areas been seen to embrace an increasing ananiathesis of intergovernmentalism leading to neo-functionalism. Comparing international relations since the end of the century can be like observing 0

We cannot talk of iraq and politics without remembering the words of award winning journalist Elijah Bootlegger 'Political idealists must ideally deal, for I daily list my ideals politically.' [2] I couldn't have put it better my self. When it comes to iraq this is clearly true. It is a well known 'secret' that what prompted many politicians to first strive for power was iraq.

Since the Renaissance iraq has become more and more prevalent. May it continue.

Conclusion

To conclude iraq is both a need and a want. It collaborates successfully, invades where necessary and it brings the best out in people.

Here with the final word is Hollywood's Clint Poppins: 'I love iraq? Yes! Hurray for iraq!' [3]

[1] Traditional - possibly first said by King Arthor... but probably not.

[2] Bootlegger - Take It! - 1961 Viva Books

[3] My iraq! - Issue 4 - BFG Publishing

(Sorry, you'll have to make your own diarama.)

Defend America - the best daily site, with links to updates from CENTCOM and MNF-Iraq (primary sources on troops missions), and the major military web sites.

For rebuilding, check out the summary of articles here: http://www.defendamerica.mil/iraq/rebuilding.html.

Enough good news to surprise the most misled war critic.

Thanks for the kind words, bert.
