I just got back from Bush's speech in Wilkes-Barre.
The theatre was packed to the maximum. The President received about a dozen standing ovations.
THE PRESIDENT ROCKED THE HOUSE AND THE PEOPLE LET HIM KNOW IT!
Lucky you, to have been there! Thanks for the post, but you were a little spare on the details.
but...but...but...Kerry has the momentum
not really breaking news, thanks for the update, but this could have gone into the live thread covering the actual speech a few posts below

The Adults: versus The Flakes:
I hope this fire and passion carries over to "Friday Night At The Fights"
Sounds similar to when he was at the stadium in Moosic last month. Was the crowd mainly health care providers? (since he was speaking on medical liability issues).
The Adults:
versus
The Flakes:
I'm not sure where to start to details. The crowd was extremely strong on his comments on finishing the war and on accepting nothing less than total victory.
Also, his first standing ovation came when he detailed Kerry's positions in the debate, and commented on making faces.
The crowd was very diverse...I didn't notice a huge concentration of people in doctor type garb. In the local paper the day before, it was announced that the speech would be shifted away from medical liability to some degree in order to counter some of Kerry's statements over the past few days.
Who is the bald headed dweeb and why is Springsteen looking at him that way...
God Bless President Bush!!
Michael Stipe of REM?
The freak is the lead singer from REM and Springsteen is looking at him thinking "We got some real queers on our team."
a) Dunno
b) Don't wanna know
(ps Sorry about the double post.)
Here's the President:
If people would like I will shot shots of a (very) small group of protesters across the street from the line.
Go for it...always good to see what the opposition is up to!
Lucky YOU!
Post more!
At #493 on that thread, Billakay was asked to do a new thread with pics...
