Good luck! This is the one you're pretty sure you're all set on, though, right? When is the tough one?

Hi, Rosie, I can't believe it's cold up there.
Our weather patterns are changing, but it hasn't cooled off a lot yet.

Was at figure drawing class last night, at least one artsy person there is not a liberal. OTOH, both he and his wife consider both Kerry *and* Bush to be socialists.

Interesting people, though, in their mid 70's, both got out of Romania 30 or more years ago when it was still behind the iron curtain (haven't heard that term for awhile) and came here. Both good artists, too.

mornin'

The Producers was a lot of fun. Typical Mel Brooks off-colorness, which is interesting when you're sitting in front of one of your Pastors.

Ruthy - try the couch. We once replaced a checkbook and paid for a library book that Jr. hid in the couch.

'nuther beautiful fallish day here. Hope to do some yard work tonite and get bulbs planted between rehearsals tomorrow. My Morning Glories are finally in full bloom (should've been in July)...

Speakin' of Jr., we're at our wits end. The message of no football obviously did ~not~ take. He was missing five Algebra assignments. So the teacher said he could turn them in late for partial credit. He showed us they were done. Tuesday I took him early to school to retake a test (that he'd flunked) and he was supposed to turn in the assignments. Teacher told me last night he got one. Jr. said "I gave him everything I could find."

30 minutes later the choreographer for our Christmas show tells us that she's impressed with how Jr. is a quick study and how she can tell that he's pleased when he gets it right...sigh...why won't this carry over to school?

We're running out of things to take away, and they're obviously not having an impact anyway.

Nana and the Therapist (hey maybe I should do NaNoWriMo...) are coming for a "home" visit today. At this point earliest she would come home would be the 18th. But wife will again point out that she can't come home and plan to stay downstairs all the time...

...specially since I'm still sleeping in the recliner downstairs. Tried actually going to bed last night, made it an hour before I woke up coughing.

It's going to be a long winter...
