I've got more emotional energy expended in this piece of crap than it's worth.
I swear one day I'm going through this house and getting rid of everything that causes me irritation...I can't walk through an inch of this house without being galled at something.

That did not turn them back on? Check and see if the shift key si broken. Holding that down on boot turns them all off automatically.
computers always annoy me in ways that nothing else in the world seems able to do. Strangly I still keep using them.

I swear I despise almost everything in my house. All my furniture and most of my clothes. If Steve would let me, I'd get rid of all of it right now...
But he doesn't want to sit on the floor. I'd do it just to get rid of all awful stuff.

Hey, 300wm...got the third knife to the post office guy. He gave me more info. His oldest boy is in the 10th Mountain Division. One of his younger twin sons is in the 101st Airborne. I don't recall him telling me what the other twin is with...but I know that two of them are in the process of being deployed and he doesn't have their new address yet. He said he would send them the knives as soon as he can and that the son that isn't deploying will get the knife asap.
He was just delighted. He was speechless when I took the first knives in, and I think a bit confused. This time though, he'd obviously read the cover letter I'd included, wasn't confused at all and was just beaming with delight.
Also, I got the knife mailed to the Black Hawk crew chief. I also put a cover letter inside and also a stickie note staying that I was merely forwarding the knife to him/her from The Freeper Hobbit Hole.
If you hear from any of them, let me know!
Well. That was quite a week. Glad it's over. I plan on puttering around the house the weekend. Might do some nanowrimo planning, will definately clean. The holidays are sneaking up on me!
