Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Good morning!
You know the other day we went to the library to see those poodles and the boys (especially Joshua) were so excited but then they didn't show up and Joshua was just so upset?
Well, a friend of ours from church has invited us over to play with her THREE poodles! One is a mini, the other two are STANDARDS!

I think standards are really need! Though...there's someone in my town who does a very nearly French cut on their standard poodle - can't remember the different poodle haircuts. It's a little spooooky to see a HUGH white poodle walking along with little puffs at the ankles and on its tail!
Supposedly they have wonderful personalities, though. Little more laid back than the minis.

Good morning folks!
Sorry to hear you're sick, Hair. Maybe it's God's way of letting you know it's time to take it easy for a day or so.
You and ecurbh have been bustin' tail on the barn conversion lately, so just relax and enjoy the day off. ;-D
Besides, you have to practice for your life of leisure after ecurbh wins the big bucks on Jeopardy! *grin*

ACK!!! Too much pressure!
To: ecurbh
ROFLMAO!
No pressure, ecurbh. Just remember that you are representing not only the Hobbit Hole, but Free Republic as well!
And, of course, we're so confident that you'll win - we've all taken out 2nd mortgages to start purchasing our sports cars and second homes. ;-D

ROTFL! - I don't want to think God made me sick. ;~D Even if I do deserve it!
Prayers for ecurbh's brain today.... may he remember every fact he ever learned, answer in the form of a question, and remember to smile and look charming!
