Makes sense, just sounds like a major 'bummer' on first read through.
I imagine it's a full-time job trying to keep up with all the major news every day. I can't even keep up just trying to read it, let alone comment on it!
We're home from the ARNG! It was great...like a dream come true for all those boys.
My camera ran out of juice, but Celeste took some pics and I'll post them as soon as I get them.
I gave away 2 knives. One to the man who invited us, one to one of the pilots that has actually flown over my house and seen me. I've got another to give to the commander, but he wouldn't take it. I'm gonna send it to him anyways with my thank you note.
Gotta go, before Steve catches me sneak freepin'.

I think this is the night to break out the vodka and make lemon drops.
That's the thing. And with only having "enough" time to update it once a week, I was always behind in the game.
A vodka lemon drop sounds like a good thing to me right now...I think I got Corin's illness. You know that tightness I've been complaining about in my chest? I thought it was a combination of too much coffee and nerves. Well, it's gone but it settled in my lower throat...I've got a cough and it hurts to swallow and I've got chills.
Sigh.
Oh well, I have a couple of jedis that after tonight think I'm the greatest mom that ever walked this Earth...

Jen knows about lemon drops? Well... I'll be... dang, girl, those things can be dangerous if not handled properly. Right up there with the best of camping jungle drinks: the "skipandgonaked".

That was a cool trip today, 2J. Glad it went well and the boys had a great time. They'll be talking about this still when they're in their forties. :-)
I make half-strength lemon drops. And only have one of 'em. But man, those things are good.
Yup, my mom taught me how to make them. It's the only mixed drink I can make, unless you count margaritas, with one of those frozen, just-add-tequila mixes.
