Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Considering that this is the first hobbit hole I've been in, I feel very blessed.
It's much more exciting than I thought 'twould be.
And I made the first page. Double the grace.

Burning Full Moon wo Sagashite right now. You'll get some odd disks - the files are different sizes, so one disk has, say, 9-11 and 13, while the next has 12 and 14-16... but you'll probably be able to figure it out.

Thanks!

from their quiet fields,

Who of all the Wise could have foreseen it?"
Are the plates here really nice? Do dwarves frequent the place?

Hello, Talon...
It's October... and you don't know what that means yet... but it's time for me to bug anyone who didn't tell me to shut up about NaNoWriMo! C'mon, you don't have anything better to do next month than write 50,000 words, right? I mean, that's only 1667 words per day, and you've got the Thanksgiving holiday in there to do extra...
I know, I think you said you were busy but I figured I'd bug you anyway, and at the least you can cheer us on...

You know, I would love to but unfortunately I DO have something 'better' to do. I have to write a paper for an gradschool class that is due around Dec 1. I am pretty behind in that class so there is no way I will have that paper done by November. I just have to many balls in the air at the moment to juggle one more :( Too bad because it looks like fun and I have a couple plot-lines gathering dust at the moment. I guess I could cheat and use IBM ViaVoice but I don't think I will even have time to do that.
