Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Good night! I'm gonna watch some anime, maybe write a little more, and then bed for me too.

My mom just helped me discover SG-1 in the last few months. She's been buying the season DVDs and I watched the first one with her. *light bulb went on* and now I'm hooked. It's a GREAT little show. Charming and fresh. I can forgive the usual scifi cliches because of the lengths they go to in order to tie into our mythology.

Mornin'
I've been up since four-something-ish. Had the worst coughing attack I've had...even worse than the one I had in the truck on Friday when I almost blacked out (fortunately I was parked). This morning, I couldn't breathe, my throat felt closed off. It was probably 30-45 minutes before I was able to calm it down.
Wife said it sounds like a cross between whooping cough and asthma. I was going to go at least stand in the choir and look purty this morning, but needless to say we scratched that idea. I'm going to try to get Luke to second service. Wife is playing the organ this morning, so she's already gone.
The question is do I have the doctor paged or do I wait and call during office hours tomorrow...
To: Corin Stormhands
Well, heck. Hop on over to Amazon and do some Christmas shoppin'.
Amazon's got everything....
(I just found the complete, original Battlestar Galactica series)

Take care of yourself, sir.
As for calling the doctor...your best judgement...unless a family member says "go now".
To: Lil'freeper
wooHoo!
I may check it out. Also Overstock.com, which is how I got my TTT-EE, for rawther less than anywhere else I loked IIRC.
To: Lil'freeper; ExGeeEye
Reckon they got a respirator?
To: ExGeeEye
I bought a chandelier from them. Fast service.

I just checked. They don't. But they do have blood pressure monitors. Sounds like you could use one of those some days. ;)
