nope...and it isn't SUPPOSED to look like a professionally drawn cartoon...they created the pilot that they took to the networks (or whoever) themselves. And I believe it wasn't even drawn. I think they used cut-out pieces of construction paper or something.

I wrote the post and was going to post what Dennis miller had said, but I couldn't remember it exactly. So I went back and rewrote the post starting halfway into it, but apparently wasn't paying close enough attention to it.

So I made a mistake.

Which you, in your infinite wisdom, have reposted 3 times in an attempt at ridicule.

actually, they created an animated short called 'the spirit of christmas' as a video christmas card for some hollywood agent / producer. They used plain old cut up cardboard and still photography.

Now theyr'e using the most advanced animation software available, but they intentionally keep the quality close the the original. They did a 1 hour special behind the scenes show and it's quite an elaborate set up, with a team of animators and their own recording studio, along with a high speed link up to isaac hayes in a studio across the country.

They can do high quality animation (you just have to watch the anime spoof episode to see it), but it doesn't fit with the character of the show.

All I can go on is what I saw them say on comedy central last saturday night at 11:30 MST. If you want to try to lecture me on libertarianism first try the book "Libertarianism a Primer". I recommend it.
