~~~"That is the one thing that comforts me when I look at all of the evil in this world. I know God is in control and that nothing happens that He hasn't ordained."~~~
Amen, Ladyinred. I really only discovered how reassuring that was after I had children. For the first time in my life I felt more vulnerable than I ever imagined possible.
But remembering that nothing happens to us by chance and that every hair is numbered according to His promise, I could sleep knowing my children were "in the shadow of His wings."
It really is the greatest comfort. I'm happy you share it.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." -- 2 Timothy 1:7.
I'm up too late and finding too many interesting bits and pieces on the internet. Here's two short links testifying to God's eternal watch.
