I think F'n was just concentrating on how to pronounce Falluja and forgot to let go (and later forgot how to pronounce Falluja)

Why didn't Kerry let go after shaking hands?

He’s a little bit gay.

I saw an analyst on before the debate say to watch for just that from Kerry, evidently in order to emphasize Kerry's height advantage.

I noticed also that kerry, towering in height over the President, when handshaking, was much closer to Bush than most men prefer to be to one another, causing Bush to look up into kerry's face--no doubt the desired effect!

I noticed that too. Kerry was being macho man. LOL

Kerry offered his usual relentless attacks against the President and endlessly challenged Bush`s credibility. Fine. Kerry offered no valid alternative to Bush`s foreign policy. Just more of the same rhetoric he's been spewing for months. More importantly, the President lost an opportunity to drive a death blow into the Kerry campaign. He didn't. He wasn't focused like many of his supporters thought he would be. Kerry frustrated Bush and that made the President very defensive for most of the debate.

Having said that, I believe the debate was a draw. Let's hope the President does a better job next week.

Kerry no doubt wanted everyone to get a gander at his superior height. An old, old psychological ploy.
