All in all, this debate had no clear winner. While I am a staunch Republican, and a firm Bush supporter, I do believe to the uninformed, Kerry did slightly better. However, I wish to qualify that statement by saying that his slight gain in debates was not enough to convince many undecideds to vote for him, and he will gain almost no vote changes across parties (i.e. Republican to Democrat). If this particular debate was the "deciding factor" then the DNC needs to pack it in now and just leave D.C. It's over.
That being said, I would like to add that when one considers that Lehr is a DNC hack and shill, having even given his program's financial donor information to the DNC and having a Kerry operative on his staff, Bush did EXCEPTIONALLY WELL!
Lehrer Stacks Deck Against Bush (in debates)
PBS' Lehrer aided DNC fundraising and hired Kerry operative
It is interesting...but for now we can't focus on Lehrer. Kerry's comment about the "global test" is what needs prime attention.
Lehrer was only the warm up, wait until CBS Schaefer gives his performance!
Frustrated beyond words. All I could do was send off emails to PBS expressing my outrage at the way the questions were asked. Bias lives.

suggestion: correct the article title on the website...it's Lehrer not Lehr
read the links. I think he is right
