Is Alexander too gay?
The opening date of the Oliver Stone epic about the Macedonian conqueror has been pushed back from Nov. 5 to Nov. 24, and an insider says one reason for the delay is that execs at the studio want to cut some of the films male-on-male love scenes.
Alexander was almost certainly bisexual, and [director] Oliver Stone wanted to portray that," says the source. "So there are scenes between Colin [Farrell, who plays Alexander] and women, but theres also some passionate scenes between Colin and Francisco Bosch.

Some of the suits at Warner Bros. think that the movie-going public just isnt ready to see that," the insider reports. Theres some pretty heated arguments going on over it.

Some of the suits at Warner Bros. think that the movie-going public just isnt ready to see that. . . Proof that there are intelligent suits. None of 'em are in politics, though.

Aw jeez, Colin, why'd ya have to do something so tatty. You
were one of my favorite actors.
"almost certainly bisexual" is most certainly off my watch list. I am so sick and tired of the queer rewriting of history and biographies.

There is good historical evidence that he was bisexual. This was not considered shameful or unmanly at the time, as long as he took the "active" role, if you get my drift. Ancient attitudes were completely different from today's.

Bosch plays Bagoas, a Persian eunuch, who many historians believe was Alexanders lover.
There's no evidence that Alexander was bisexual, gay, or ever had a single sexual encounter with another man. Speculation about him having sex with the eunuch were recently advanced by Mary Renault in her trilogy and are a pure fantasy.
The modern day homosexual community has adopted Alexander the Great as 'one of their "own". They are incredibly dishonest, if not just ignorant, people. The same sort of people who say Achilles was gay because his best friend was Patroclus... Basically, any historical (or fictional) person who had a male friend is now obviously homosexual.
Leave to Stone and others like him to choose the unsubstantiated idea that Alaexander liked homosex over evidence.

Supposedly not, but they sure love him.
Truth is he's just another vapid pretty boy obsessed with himself like all actors and actresses are.

You are correct. They have been trying to make the same implications towards David and his friend Jonathon...yes, that David and Jonathon. Giant slayer and all that.
