I'll let him hang around awhile. But honestly, no one I know wants a heeler. They are real difficult dogs to deal with. But this one so far seems very quiet and sweet. If he stays that way, he'll have a better chance at staying. If he starts to act like the other heelers I've had, chasing the horses, he'll have to go. I can't do that anymore. I'm wondering if with that bad eye, he may be less apt to chase the horses???

You'll know very shortly. He's probably on his best behavior,
testing the waters. That can't last more than a week or two.
If you can't keep him perhaps we can get with annyokie and see is she knows any rescue orgs. who could help you out.
