Can anyone help me to get back to my original post, months ago, without wading through 20 Pings at a time? I've requested 250 views, but get an overload message and only 20 views at a time.
Other than clicking hundreds of "Show More Posts" links, is there are quicker way to get back to (((:::Day One:::)))?
A new FReeper, who just got creamed and who is disheartened, needs to read what kind of firestorm I went through, and survived the VKs® and ZOT®, and have prospered as a FReeper.
Any help would be appreciated...

Do a search "by poster".
Try a Google search, too.
Your favorite threads could be bookmarked,
I'll be waiting for an answer too. I can't help ya. Maybe it's time to bring up the classic FLAME post to de-sensitize all the newbies. Can't find that either.
Go to Post #2: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1228592/posts
It works, but takes a *while* to get there.
Old timers can find their early posts at Alltheweb.
Here's an example using your screen name: http://www.alltheweb.com/search?cat=web&q=%22by+Eastbound%22+1998+-1999+-2000+-2001+-2002+-2003+domain%3Afreerepublic.com&o=30
Add the topic of your first post to the search above and it'll probably come right up.
Remember your email address and ICQ number from 1999?
It's on this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a36e959063c7c.htm
Not even remotely Scott's #1. That looks like a circa 1905 stamp.
Thank you very much, mrsmith. I appreciate that.

Dunno; I'd guess ask one of the veteran FR'ers or an Admin Mod..., DKK.
