Every now and then we need a belly rub break from the terrorists, politics, human horrors and demonRats of this world. When some of the threads get a bit intense and we find we're starting to take ourselves a tad too seriously, you'll see many of us drifting into comments about our funny little furry companions. It doesn't take much, just a reference to the Hildebeast or one of sKerry's daughters can set off the canine crazies amongst us.
Several of us have been discussing the idea of starting a thread of our own where we can muzzle the issues for a few minutes, let our hackles down, and run and jump to wherever our noses lead us. Hopefully, we'll all end up rolling in the stink pile together, laughing like a hyena gone mad.
Now, here's the bite...None of us initially involved with this idea have an ounce of HTML or artsy fartsy posting talent. We need some of you dog loving FR artistes to come to our aid. You scratch behind our ears and we'll rub your butts for you! Please let us know how you're able to help us get such a wonderful idea out of the dog run and we'll start this pack running free.
Come on y'all, let's find a place where we can bay at the moon until we wake the whole darned neighborhood. I especially wanna yowl all the trolls right off the block!
Welcome back! I missed you.

"I'll Scratch Your Fleas If You'll Scratch Mine" ?
No problem!
I have my hands full with regular threads I can barely keep up with.... but good luck with this and I'll try to follow it.
Thank you!!!! My one and only fan. Missed you too. How's your dog life going?
"If You Want to Play Hide-and-Go-Seek Just Spell 'Bath'" ?
My pooch, Fiona, with her buddy, Tam:
Tam is to blame for the damaged sofa...but Fiona has done far more than her share of damage in her time...*sigh*
"Sniffin' For A Spot..."
That would be a fantastic name for the thread.
So would HairOfTheDog, but alas, it's taken...
by a girlie girl no less!
please ping me to be part of your thread!!
(check my pup pics on my page )
I dont have a cute name for your thread... we use to do a gossip thread in a group I was in, that had a pup at the top scratching at a hole that said "The Latest Dirt"
but our friends thread was name "Do Drop Inn" .. everyday we all checked in to that one thread, just to say hi and that we are here today and maybe post our weather, from all over the USA and such.. it was fun and interesting to read when it was done on a regular basis...
" "I'll Scratch Your Fleas If You'll Scratch Mine" ?"
Another great name! Y'all are clever, clever, clever.
Now where are the artsy fartsy FReeper fairies?
Please don't be shy.
I am ready to poison them, just kidding. Between barking at the garbage collector at 4:00 am, barking at the UPS guy, barking at the neighbors who dare walk their dogs up the lane and, with the barking breaking a slat in our new wooden window blinds when the meter reader was here the other day.......you get the picture.
Actually, they are quite well-behaved, except for the old dog, whose mission in life is to bark his ass off to let us know that he knows we are home.
"The Ole Kennel Caboodle" ?
Okay, okay.... so that's a stretch.
:-)
What precious darlins they are. I am looking for a Dachshund or Min Pin to rescue. I have three larger dogs and I want at least one that weighs less than 20 lbs.
I don't think the fairy part applies ..... ;-) .....
but he's definitely artsy-fartsy and Flyer's even got a bad dog cam.

Actually it's very good and not a stretch at all. There is one problem though; it sounds like a description of my ass.
I'd sure hate to have to read that every day! roflmhao
