A friend has 5,000 copies of the movie FahrenHYPE 9/11 ready to ship to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Need ideas on how best to send them over. Any suggestions? I'll collect the suggestions from here, and then forward them on to him.
(Military, former military, military families - familiar with procedures if possible.)

Get hold of Michael Moore and have him deliver them personally. I'm sure some of the troops would be glad to see him over there.

call FedEx - I believe they have some provision for shipping. There are also a couple people already doing charitable things; one is the lady who's sending air conditioners and the other is Capt. Wiggles (though he may have been killed?) who brings toys. They probably have established preferable means of shipping.
lol, that fool would never go to Iraq in person. he's too afraid that the troops would take the chance to make him disappear. he believes the worst about our soldiers, uses their deaths and injuries for his agenda, and exalts the enemy.

But this is FahrenHYPE 9/11, and what I think my friend is looking for is an effective distribution method for DVDs. If there is one already in place that anybody here knows about, that would be great.

Have Sean Hannity, or Rush Limbaugh, or Toby Keith, or Zell Miller, or your own Senator (assumming you have a pubbie in one of the two seats) - and so on - make them available through their influence and sources.

Unfortunately, the "Dear Any Servicemember" program is no longer running. However, if you are near a Military installation, there are always programs ongoing to get carepackages out. Try contacting either Public Affairs or the nearest USO office.

The AFEES (PX System) has a plan to market the Moore film. Search FR for articles about Moore's film...scan for info of the Gov't plan to make his film available...offer your DVD as an alternative

Perhaps a pointer in getting the movie included in every units' entertainment pool... ??? and then spreading the word among the troops that it is there?
Any pointers that you can offer would be helpful in combatting Michael Moore's deceitful film!
Actually, that's what I was hoping for... Problem is I don't know how to get the FReepers in Iraq to read this. Is there a ping list?
