There is a downside to reporting to the people that one is fair and balanced and then putting on only one viewpoint, spiking news stories, or "engineering" news stories that support only that view point. Ask Dan Rather.
Conservatives need to hear all sides of an issue and then articulate why their position on the issue is the best one. The more libs and RINOS that fox puts on, the more chances that conservatives have to expose the views of libs and RINOS as wrong-headed. Iraq is not a bed of roses. That much is sure.
...However, Bin laden has said after Somalia that we can be beat if those fighting us are bloody enough--that there is a point where the American left will scream and holler and demand to pull us out. What is happening now is a play on that strategy. Nothing more. Nothing less. America just has to Gut it out. Electing Bush by large margins will send a very strong message to the folks over there (as will electing kerry). The question is, which message do we want them to get?

Biden is the stereotypical senator. Massive ego, loves to hear himself talk, loves to talk down to others. That is why foreign policy is a perfect subject for him. He gets to run his suck all day long, criticize any action in hindsight, and has absolutely no accountability.

The word scumbag fascinates me. I love the history of language. Some words are just fascinating in the actual origin and evolving meanings, those being on the increase the more ignorant the populace becomes. It's how we end up with stuff like, "irregardless".
The origin of scumbag has to be colorful and rooted in commonly identified nouns turned into adjectives.

Sorry. Didn't know you felt that Fox was a "conservative" station.
Besides you're only irked because you think I am a sedevacantist.

Listened to the Fox radio version.
Had to hear him, I hate that, because I picture the ill looking %$#$%#$ in my head.
Thing is though, I can picture someone assaulting him with a ball bat as well.

Fox is not a conservative nor a liberal station. It is fair and balanced.
If you think it's liberal, it's not surprising.

I like the part where biden said the President should right now take all the leaders into a side room and DEMAND they pony up money and soldiers..even the hostess didn't believe that would work..biden really became unhinged..or in his case even more unhinged..
To: longfellow
OK........Here goes. Scumbag is a filtering cloth or bag which is used to collect oily film or waste which floats on the top of a body or container of water or other liquid. In metals smolting, it's the dross or thin layer of oxidized crust on the surface.
When refering to people, the use of the word has only one meaning, which is people who are despised as wicked or evil. The use of scum to refer to people can be appropriate, but not scumbag. Scumbag is an improper use of a word if it's describing a person, with scum being sufficient and appropriate.
So OK, Tereeezaah say's we're all wicked or evil. That's progress! She must be taking a real shine to consevatives! I'd rather be called evil or wicked than an idiot.

"The anchor isn't up to refuting his arguments. Not good. He just said Kerry didn't say troops would be withdrawn in 4 years, and she couldn't refute him."
Didn't Kerry say he would have the troops home in 6 months after he is elected? I'm pretty sure I heard him say that.
Is there any way to pull up his speeches?

"It is fair and balanced. From the lips of Bill O'Reilly to your nimble keystrokes.
You could tell how fair and how balanced when O'Reilly last interviewed Ann Coulter. He was a like a fish out of water and his attempts to put her down were obvious.
I like Shep Smith and Britt Hume and NEVER watch another news network. O'Reilly is the only one I find fault.

Perfect description for a Senator and the main reason why SKerry will lose on November.

Goodness gracious, could you rabid losers give it a rest with the 'Welcome newbie' sign-up date witch hunt? It has gotten to be such a weak and pathetic knee-jerk mantra.
