Oh Pup, what a shame. I guess it got the beach at the condo some too, but we sold it the other day, so I won't be going there anymore.

Will they be buying sand to try and fill that in?

Y'all aren't going back to Florida this year....or just to the condo?

gran, they will probably just get some dozers and push the sand back in. Most of it is resting just at the edge of where the waves used to break, making the beach about three times as wide as it used to be. Then they will put up sand fences and plant sea oats to help rebuild the dunes.

The scenes here are mild compared to what others suffered. Most of the property damage here was in missing parts of roofs and in ruined carpets. I was so lucky. Not one drop of water entered my place. There are whole buildings where all carpets are being ripped out and much of the furniture is ruined.
