That library and those pictures are great! It so reminds me of Death Valley Days. I'll be back in the Mojave in December - phew, I recall it as being very isolated and very far to an airport :) The silence too... Some of those back roads - we wouldn't see a soul for four to eight hours at a time.

I'm really not in the market for another job. I rather like this one, actually. It is just a lot to know and and a lot to juggle, but apart from the bureaucratic part of it, it does seem to suit me. It is a part of every day to feel both grieved and grateful, and sometimes it is the grief that inspires the gratitude.
