Have I ever mentioned how women taller than I reduce me to quivering muteness?
I clam up and sit still as if that will keep them from seeing me.
*sigh*
Something to do with sensory overload.
I'm only 5'5" tall, and have a habit of running into women 6'9" tall or more.. which puts my eye level at a disadvantage.. depending on one's point of view.
Massively intimidating actually.
Especially when such a lady figures it out and needles me about it.

Cats do tend to seem offended when we look comfortable.

Look them straight in the chest and announce your intentions, Darks.
Or, pick up one of the megaphones and blast it out.
Whatever. It is not a bad thing to be on nipple level.
Look'em in the eye.

Gabe and I just got back from a little birthday party for a one-year-old. She sure had a colorful cake.

To: lodwick
I do.. that's why I end up in sensory overload and mute.

I'm likely somewhat shorter now as well.
A 125 pound rucksack will do that.

If you lost height, it's usually through spinal compression.

That's good news Westy. Funny how the Liberal element seems to congregate in the largest City of a State. In any event, the Democrats overall took a good shellacking!! And I like it! CO

Last Monday I went for my usual chiro appointment and when I was checking out, I told the receptionist that I couldn't be there for my Wednesday appointment because I would be up all night election night. So, the lil girl receptionist said 'wow' and what do you do all election night?
I told her of our FR site and told her that we were essentially the cyber poll watchers of the election. While we were discussing it, my chiro walked up and asked more questions of me. So, I described our site and our mission in more detail.
Much to my surprise today, while I was sitting in line for my adjustment, she looked over at me and asked me if the election had gone as I wanted. I told her "better than expected, actually". She smiled. And while I was having my adjustment, she said "I almost called you on Tuesday afternoon to get an opinion from an expert because I was worried".
I think I will give her a freeper card tomorrow, as I know she is Republican now. Should I?
