Heh. I've gotten two calls already from Governor Arnold Schwarznegger urging me to vote "No" on Prop 66 (it weakens the three-strikes felony law and actually releases about 26,000 felons convicted under this law), and Mel Gibson called last night, emphatically urging a "No" vote on Prop 71, the stem cell research bill. I wonder who will call today?
I must be blessed I walked into the place sign the book voted and left in less than 10 mins!
There were other voting precincts but where I needed to go was empty!

Unfortunately, my husband answered the Mel Gibson call, and he wasn't impressed. I told him he should have handed the phone to me. Again, he wasn't impressed.
Nope...they are not very good eating after they enter the river to spawn..Should have tried a couple of months ago while they were still in the lake..The State had a 2 day season on them then....

Ringy, I got a call from George W Bush, himself. My daughter did, too. I answered the phone and was going to hang up when I realized it was automated, but then....I heard his voice and I listened to the whole message. My daughter told me she did the same. LOL

LOL. Understandable though. My favorite Mel Gibson movie is "We Were Soldiers" based on the book by Lt. Gen. Hal C. Moore, "We Were Soldiers Once and Young." Loved the book and loved the movie. Hum, that's what I ought to do, go read, or watch a movie. Just can't seem to pull myself away from Free Republic. :)
