Well, just damn, I made the right decision today. I was planning to run in Wal Mart before my chiro appointment, but changed my mind, else I would have been caught in the middle of it all.

Police had received several calls about an erratic driver on I-55. By the time they got there, he had gone into Wal Mart carrying a long sword, a pellet rifle and another knife. He proceeded to threaten employees and customers, slashed several displays with his sword and fired his rifle several times. A police officer subdued him with his baton and sent him to the hospital. But, on the way to the hospital, the perp told them he had planted a bomb in Wal Mart. The BATF were called and the store was evacuated and searched. They didn't find anything.

The whole thing started at 9:00 and good old Wal Mart was back in business by 10:30.

Dude hasn't the marbles to successfully assemble a bomb, imo.

Let's see; a sword, a pellet rifle, and a knife?

Thanks for the laugh, CB.

Back away from it, or give it some time.

Stay safe back there.

Cool John Deere, Mo, but where's Al's safety glasses, and ear protection, and gloves? We'd never let him on "The Big Job", without his PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment).

Did he have a round yellow smily face? Was he slashing prices with his sword?

Stress Management Technique

Just in case you've had a rough day, here's an 8 step stress management technique recommended in the latest psychological texts.
The funny thing is that it really works....

1. Picture yourself near a stream.

2. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air.

3. No one but you knows your secret place.

4. You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called "the World".

5. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

6. The water is crystal clear.

7. You can easily make out the face of the person you're holding underwater.

8. See! You're smiling already.

I'm certainly glad that this is yall's laugh of the day. People in that store were in very serious danger of being hurt or killed. And I know a lot of employees in that store.

CB, we're not making light of the situation, but it is a funny visual.

Another reason to bring back our Second Amendment rights!

I love those granite blocks. You can see the bars holes they used to split them.

You really have an artist's touch with that colorful composition

We do have second ammendment rights, yes right here in little old Missouri, my friend.

Its a wonder the man did not get his head blown off by a customer.

I went for lunch today with my niece and took a few photographs. This is the view of part of the Peninsula of La Coruña from her 16th floor apartment.

Well, my first post must have fallen into a black hole in cyberspace.

What is the name of our sister site in Canada? I thought it was freedominion.com but I can't find it anymore.
