It amazes me that a town council can ban children going from door to door. I think that if mine tried to do such a thing...the parents would just go ahead and allow their children to go trick or treating anyway. I mean, what can they do, arrest the little kiddies? What a crock!
Funny you should mention this. About an hour ago, one of two senior writers here went to the office next door to whisper about me. I am in the office next door with my door open, can hear them bashing Pres. Bush in loud tones, then they lower their voices to talk about me (and my best friend). The Head Troll says: "Be warned and stay away from them." This after last week he told me over and over how he is proud to be a Liberal and how tolerant he is of others. I swear, I am almost beside myself.

That's the part I really don't get. The Head Troll here and his minion must make well over 100K, live in 350K + homes (that's a lot for AZ), etc. etc. They are big enviros, but it's not like Lurch will do anything for the environment!
You will not believe what I saw this morning. Among all the clusters of Republican yard signs in our neighborhood there was one lone Kerry/Edwards sign. There was also a Firemen for Kerry sign.
While I was driving down the street, a man came out of the house and plucked them up out of the ground. I was just a bit curious, so I slowed down and looked in my rearview window. He put them in his trash can on the curb.
I wonder how Kerry finally ticked him off.

Good gracious. Talk about a hostile work environment. I have a tape recorder, but there is construction below, so it wouldn't have caught them. This Troll (and I know this is mean, but he looks like one too) went psycho last week when I showed him the latest Ann C. book. He kept trying to get me to read Al Franken's book. So now he must walk around and gossip about me. How immature. Guess there is no such thing as civilized conversation if the libs disagree with you. I've probably said before, we don't normally discuss pols here since there are so many libs... but it seemed like we could discuss a couple of books without rumor-mongering. Looks like I was wrong.
I think it's time to get out that voodoo doll again.

Someone gave me one for home and I gave up within a couple of days of trying it, and threw it out. BUT, I was SO embarrassed in other ways at the pt place, some of the chiros, etc. The electric shock, the weird gyrations, the public cracking...
Two weirdos here at work sit on those $&*#@( balls instead of using chairs! Bet you can guess who they are voting for.

I've found the deep muscle massage therapy and a SelectComfort mattress to be better than a chiro for me...and walking the poochies is always a good thing for my spine.
Totally about networking. I'll get my revenge too because just about everyone in our Austin office LOVES the President and they will lynch the commies if they dare start their bashing. I just don't get it. I even told the Head Troll I am an inde who leans more libertarian, etc. etc. I didn't preach to him, raise my voice, or anything. I guess it's good he's scared of me now. He can kiss my you-know-what. All he could say last week was "I bet W doesn't do his own grocery shopping." Whatever.
