I use to have a 21ft motorhome, but after my legs went to he!! and other things I couldn't maintain it, so gave it to my daughter....It turned out to be to much of a hassle for them so they got rid of it...So now I'm down to my tow car.....

What a great picture! I took some new kitty pictures tonight too. The ranch where I had supper was crawling with cats, and they were some of the most personable little critters I've ever met.

She reminded me a lot of Mocha, one I used to have that was half Himalayan. She was a sweet little thing too, and soft as a bunny. I picked her up and was toting her around for awhile. She seemed to enjoy the attention.

The kids put on quite a spread for us, and provided entertainment as well. This was a group of foster kids, 14 and older, form 9 counties. One of my kids was there so I went. Besides, this ranch is just down the road from me. Some of the guests traveled for 2-3 hours to get here.

I am happy for them, for now they can be on their own instead of living temporarily with their kids. This made me smile. I had no idea that the revolving door on the empty nest worked both ways.

For some reason, these remind me of Darks.

We've got quite a bit of color here now, although not quite normal It was so dry going into fall this year that a lot of the leaves got brown prematurely.

Yes, I know. I usually just go around my yard to pick leaves and other tree products for my Halloween decorations. This year there is hardly anything...the trees turned from green to brown around here. And the sweet gum balls and acorns are practically zilch.
To: Conservababe
You want acorns.....my yard is covered with them. Not even this squirrel army around here could eat all those acorns!

And how are your dear darling squirrels? I wonder how Mo's one little pathetic one is faring?
The other day, I took down my metal squirell proof feeders and took them out to the deck to clean them. I lost the wing nut to the one in the front yard on a pole. So, I filled it some and just put it back to see what would happen. Within ten minutes, the little basturds were laying in it gorging themselves. So, I guess that feeder is a lost cause.
