I'm trying to find out if the LP was successful in getting on the NY ballot...they are the only other party on the ballot here.
Politics, magically, is the only arena of our lives in America where we are not presented with a dizzying array of choices.

Another topic, and I'm asking you since you know just about everything there is to know! I just bought a new MP3 player, a Creative Zen Touch, and I'm interested in downloading an audio book or two. I've found a couple of sites that have them, but they want you to join and pay a monthly fee (WHAT?!! Pay a monthly fee on top of paying for the book?) Is this anything you are familiar with? It looks pretty easy to find downloadable music, plus I can rip CD's I own, and sync them to the player with the included software. I like to listen to audio books occasionally when I'm out walking or working in the yard.

Good grief. I didn't think it possible but this ticket may be tackier than the Clintons. First, John Edwards makes a pointed innuendo about Mary Cheney in the VP debate, then, 3 days later Kerry stoops to do likewise in the presidential debate. When the Cheney's and the rest of the country took offense over their remarks Liz Edwards insults Lynne Cheney on network TV. Now, today that blowsy, floosy ketchup queen takes a swipe at the most popular political figure in the country. Not to mention slamming a long time democrat constinuancy, the NEA. IMO, they're beginning to reek of desperation. Moreover, Terrrraaaaazuh is apparently dosing herself with her "arithritis" recipe on a daily basis, 'cept she must be throwing away the raisins and drinking the gin.
I've got to get busy and put some of my cute-kitty pics on a server somewhere so I can post them. Everybody's kitties are cute, right?
As I've said to my husband, everytime I've seen photos of Terrayyza, or seen her live on television, or she opens her mouth, she looks and sounds like she's half (or more) in the bag. I used to say that I thought she needed her meds titrated, but I just think that she likes Merlot (or gin) too much.

I agree. Everything about her, appearance, conduct, posture, loose lips seems to indicate that. I hope she breaks loose from her handlers a couple of more times before the election, she is just about as much help for our side as Terry McAuliffe has been.
