It's exactly the same when it comes to the draft. Mr. Bush's claim that we don't need any expansion in our military is patently unrealistic; it ignores the severe stress our Army is already under. And the experience in Iraq shows that pursuing his broader foreign policy doctrine - the "Bush doctrine" of pre-emptive war - would require much larger military forces than we now have. In 1992 our all volunteer military was TWICE the size it is now. The only part we have to restore to full size is the Army, adding back the 8 divisions disbanded when the cold war ended. The military would then still be nearly a million men smaller than in 1992.

Yeah, I don't eat out, I don't use illegal groundskeepers, I stay at hotels which pay the staff well enough, I grow much of my own food or buy from organic farms, and most of my clothes come from third world sweatshops (since now they don't even make Levis in the USA!!! *$((#@&). So I don't need to be paying $1,000 a year to support illegals in AZ.

I just had to eat a ton of Willy Wonka taffy and also some Twix and Heath bars because we are working ten and a half hour days. We'll see if I can squeeze out of my office tonight at 7 pm. LadyofShalott might have to push me out and roll me down the stairs.
