Yep - you posted you at the command center a couple of months ago (I think).
It's all good.
Cheers up there.
The Democraps are EVIIIIILLLL Gran!! My husband said to me on the way to work this morning, "God Help the Americans if they elect Kerry", "he's so weak in character, can't make or stick to a decision, has no real strong convictions", much like the corrupt Liberals we have.
Smooooooooooooooooooooooooch... love you tease you..lol.
I'm thinking of Belize..lol. Sighhhhhhhhh

One of these days? LOL, I'm entering the deep end of the pool already.
Don't ever have a conversation with Al or my kids.:( They've been calling me senile for years..
Wow, BO'R looks like he's in a lot of trouble, huh? Haven't set my mind to why or how yet, but it's really a scandal right now.
Dem trick, or truth?
You're alive! or is it because the Peterson trial is recessed........
Most O'Reilly viewers get the "I'm balanced, I'm balanced, look at me" from Mr Bill. He's not really that conservative, so he will be a non factor in the election.
Conservatives could use a good week or three of news right now........
We can adopt a Marine tho BQ!! I did that about a year ago. All I know is his name is John W. I pray for him each morning and his family. I have had two messages of appreciation from the family although I don't know who that is. It is just from "the family". There are still more to adopt tho.
Yes, I think so too.
That one worked ... thanks
That's soooo nice - thanks! When my brother was lying in the trenches for eight months, waiting to liberate Kuwait from Saddam in Persian Gulf I, it was a long and lonely time. He gave me the names of several Marines who did not really have much family or outside contact. It was even tougher for them then as far as news, etc.(even though they are Marines :) - without radio, television, email ... and no matter what good buddies you have around you, it is nice to have that outside contact -just to know others are praying for you. When everyone came home, I got to meet some of the guys I'd been writing...
The Person who runs the AC site was very dispondance over how the media has undermind our military and it getting our soldier down!
That is why this call is going out to "Adopt A Soldier!" get to know them and see what they need.
How much clearer can this lady be in telling us what is needed if only people will read!!
Since I DON'T KNOW IT ALL I Listen too those who are engaged in doing for our Soldier!!
We have stopped buying Air Conditioners for this summer. As of 1 October 2004, we begun to buy space heaters. The procedure to donate space heaters is to donate cash to us so that we can buy them in bulk at a discount (we buy 1000 heaters at a time usually) and we buy boots in bulk as well, about 450 pair at a time. We'll get it to the specific soldier or marine who signed up on our site in Iraq or Afghanistan.
We also encourage you to sign up to adopt a soldier or marine and send them cards, care packages or anything to let them know we are still behind them and we support them!
We have an Adopt-A-Soldier program where you can sign-up here on the website to adopt a soldier. You can buy him or her the Altama Combat boots and begin corresponding with them and sending them care packages. We will also continue sending Altama Ripple sole combat boots ourselves to the soldiers we find that have an immediate need. We have just been picked up by a local business to sponsor "Boots From Bikers" campaign from Mike's Famous Harley Davidson located in New Castle, Delaware. We sent 428 pairs out in August and now we are going to do this again in October.
We send soldiers anything they email us and ask for. Our soldiers and marines are humble people and they only ask for what they need like water and food. I have never received a request for a "luxury" item. I do send them snake repellent, insect repellent, sticky traps for the scorpions and flea powder also. It is my hope that we make their existence in Iraq and Afghanistan during their deployment as safe and as easy on them as possible given the job they are there to do. I have found that the 2 pairs of boots they are given for their deployment are just about falling off their feet and they are worn out. Getting new supplies of these types of items is difficult to get to our troops.
You will see by the letters our troops mail to Operation AC that the boots are a really big thing for them. Just imagine wearing the same boots in hot sandy conditions following with cold, wet and muddy conditions for nearly a year. Plus you are on your feet about 15 hours a day on average. Anyone who was in the military will tell you - soldiers must take care of their feet. That does not change from Valley Forge with General Washington to now in Iraq.
Rested Soldiers are more alert and able to perform their duty SAFELY! We need to buy and send many items to help these soldiers and marines. They are doing VERY dangerous jobs.
Babe we all know that soldier do have a life long bond, but I also know how the Vietnam Soldier felt when John Kerry got done with the nation and religated our protectors to the outhouse of life!
It's too bad that some other countries such as Canada couldn't remove themselves from the USA tit of Protection and join the fray. You know, show some appreciation.!! We have wimp ass Liberals in power who send some of our Snipers but it must be kept secret. It sickens me. Only good thing tho, is this government minority is teetering and will likely not make the year before being overturned. The reason I know we have some Sniper teams over there is because my niece is married to a guy in the military. Trust me, they aren't well taken care of. Low priority for Liberals.
Belize Gran??? I'm thinking of an underground bunker.
What province are you in, if you don't mind my asking? I LOVE Western Canada - have traveled extensively there... especially in the Yukon, Alberta, Northwest Territories, and BC. Everyone I met was soooo nice. We used to go out with the Mounties, climbing wardens, and border guards all the time.
Hi stranger!!!
