Thanks grannie. But it is my BIL. My SIL doesn't have enough sense to head an oil rig. LOL
I do have a lot of respect for Stephen's (my BIL) job. When you work on an international rig, you are thirty days out and thirty days in, unlike domestic rigs which are two weeks rotations.
And frequently when he is home, has has to attend week long classes to update on international law, medical (he is an EMT, required), OSHA guidelines, drug testing and etc.
But, I don't think he ever considered his life in danger before, from other than rig accidents or weather. He makes good money, but my sister says he is not going back once he gets home, even if they have to peck shit with the chickens to survive.
