Great idea! That's exactly what we do on ebay, to know who the trouble makers are and who the nice people are that enjoy civil, non-insulting debate. This mob stuff is going to run off a lot of nice people. I had no idea this kind of thing was going on until someone else gave me the heads up.

Anonymity is a two-edged sword. It allows me to speak my mind on Muslims (which isn't very pretty) without getting beheaded, but it also allows others to abuse this site and tie-up hundreds of people - as is presently going on now:
