Oklahoma cops pop "Home Alone" star for pot, pill possession

SEPTEMBER 17--In a week that has already included news about the arrests of former child stars Tracey Gold and Edward Furlong, comes word from Oklahoma that Macaulay Culkin was popped this afternoon on drug charges. The 24-year-old actor, best known for starring in the "Home Alone" movies, was nabbed for possession of marijuana and a "controlled dangerous substance" for which he did not have a prescription. A bleary-eyed Culkin is pictured below in an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office mug shot. Arrested following a traffic stop, Culkin was jailed on $4,000 bond.

"I watched him is some movie, in which he killed for drugs."

Maybe his defense for this bust will be that he was "researching a role"....sort of like the Pete Townschend paedophile defense.

"Looks like he'll be "home alone" in da big house"

Unfortunately, I'm sure that his army of lawyers will have him out before he can develop any "meaningful relationships" with inmates with names like Bubba, Cletus and Master Daddy.

I'm not so sure that the mug show will be much of a deterrent....the little twit has a smirk on his face. Thinks it's a real laugh, getting busted by a bunch of Okie hicks.
I hope the cops wiped that little smirk off of his face.....

It's a shame that most child actors become such homely adults. The same odd features that made them "cute" as children just don't age well. See Jerry Mathers, Gary Coleman, etc.

Sad to have your life peak before puberty hits.

"Yikes! Steven Buscemi, call your lawyer... someone has stolen your look!"

ROTFLMAO!! So that's how he gets to look the way he does....some pot and pills? Seems to be quite a popular look among the Hollyweird types....

yeah I used to work with industry people. You have no idea how little attention they pay to their kids. Its sad to see people that have been fawned over early in their life then cast adrift in this big bad world. They have no way of handling it.

LOL! First rule is, get busted by the Beverly Hills police because they have espresso and quiche in the designer holding cells. They'll also coordinate with your publicist for the best exposure.

That's one seriously-ugly kid.

Looks like he lives in one of those places where, when you go down into the basement, you look up and see axles.

Very true. And so many don't plan for their ultimate decline, and become alcoholics or druggies.

One I can think of that grew up to still hold his looks is Fred Savage. A few years back he had some reporters asking where he had been. His answer was that he had been in college. A few weeks ago I read he had gotten married. Apparently he has kept himself busy by directing. He worked behind the scenes on Austin Powers:Goldfinger. I can't remember the other movies he worked on right now.

Well, he's got a radio talk show and some insipid daytime TV thing with Dick Clark, and probably more.

He's probably raking in the cash.
