As I understand it Blather was just blathering. He did it live. Now, if he sold a bunch of stock in the days before, he could be checked out by the SEC to see if he WANTED Viacom's stock to go down from his rant. Otherwise, just another reporter hits the dust and takes down some markets with his idiocy.

Viacom is publicly traded and one of its business units is engaging in fraud and they haven't reported themselves to the SEC. I smell one of those pesky class action lawsuits.
