The lack of patriotism here never ceases to amaze me.

Cheering for Osama is unremarkable in Seattle, the only city in America to have a statue of Lenin standing in a square.

But the Republican candidate, George Nethercutt, is an attractive and viable alternative to Osama Mama. With enough hard work by Repubs at every level in the state, he might win. Aren't they scheduled to debate?

I share your frustration at the pathetic, moronic, out-of-touch-with-mainstream America (e.g. "Real America) electorate in WA. For the general, Murray will do what libs in this state always do to try to win:

<whiny, shrill voice> He opposes a woman's right to choose!</whiny, shrill voice>

Of course, if the likes of Murray gain ascendency, there won't be any "rights".
