I think it will be even more interesting for Border's corporate HQ to read the printout of the posts I'm sending them.
Quote from the only rational post:
I've been wondering what all the fuss is about concerning Unfit For Command..So, I actually read it and found it to be factual and forthright..I know many of you will think I am a traitor for saying this, but I was taught to always look at all sides and to be fair and balanced in my judgments..There is much truth in the book and I suggest you read it.
If you read the entire thread, all these people are obviously little elitest lefitsts, who think their job at Borders gives them some kind of literary status. It's obvious none of them read it, or, if they did, they didn't do so with an objective mind.
Last week I looked for "Unfit for Command" in a LA Border's book, a Border store in Denver, 2 Barnes and Noble Store in Denver and the Tattered Cover bookstore (large independent bookseller).
So I ordered 3 copies from Amazon. Then I found 9 copies of the book in a Barnes and Noble in Lincoln, Nebraska. (I was in Lincoln for the Football game)
How the h*ll can a bookstore in a smaller city have the book when it is unavailable in large cities? It doesn't make sense to me.
I can't get in.
